Free AI CV Builder for South Africa
Meet Mandy, the AI assistant built into every free CV Hub account. She helps you write the hard parts of your CV - in your words, from your own experience.
Writes your About Me
The summary at the top of your CV is where most people get stuck. Mandy drafts it from your qualifications, jobs and skills, so it describes you - not a generic candidate.
Drafts your cover letter
Get a one-page cover letter built from the CV you have already filled in. Edit it, then choose whether to include it with your CV.
Imports your old CV
Upload an existing CV as a PDF or Word (DOCX) file and Mandy reads it into your profile. You review everything before it is saved.
Professional headshot
Turn a clear phone selfie into a neat, professional CV photo. You see the result first and decide whether to use it.
Tells you what is missing
Ask Mandy what to do next. She knows which sections of your CV are still empty and points you straight to them.
Made for South Africa
Matric, NSC, learnerships, SETA courses, Code 8 and Code 10 licences - CV Hub and Mandy understand the way South African CVs are written.
How the AI CV builder works
- Create a free account - or sign in with Google.
- Import your old CV, or fill in your education, jobs and skills. Short notes are fine.
- Ask Mandy to write your About Me and cover letter, then edit anything you want to change.
- Pick one of the free CV templates and download your CV as a PDF.
You stay in control
Mandy assists you; she never speaks for you. Every draft is yours to read, change and approve before it goes anywhere near your CV, and your information is only sent to an AI service when you ask for it. Our Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is sent and to whom.
AI can get details wrong, so always check names, dates and qualifications before you send your CV to an employer.
Questions
Is the AI CV builder really free?
Yes. Mandy is included with every CV Hub account at no cost, along with the CV templates and PDF downloads.
Will employers know my CV was written with AI?
Mandy writes from the facts you give her, and you edit every draft. The best results come from adding your own details - real duties, numbers and achievements - so the final CV sounds like you.
Can Mandy write a CV if I have no experience?
Yes. Add your matric, any courses, volunteer work and skills, and Mandy will write a summary that focuses on what you can offer. Our guide to writing a CV with no experience has more tips.
