1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using CV Hub ("the Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CV Hub, governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

2. Description of Services

CV Hub is a free online platform that enables South African job seekers to:

  • Create and publish professional CV profiles
  • Be discovered by potential employers through our CV database
  • Download their CV in PDF format
  • Receive messages from employers and recruiters
  • Manage their career profile and visibility settings

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time with or without notice.

3. Account Registration

To use CV Hub you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and truthful information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You may not share your account with any other person. You are responsible for all activity on your account.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information about your qualifications or experience
  • Use the platform to spam, harass or abuse other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
  • Use automated scripts or bots to scrape content
  • Upload malicious code or files
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Use another person's identity or CV content without permission

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to CV Hub. By submitting content, you grant CV Hub a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your content on the platform for the purpose of providing our services.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content. CV Hub does not verify the accuracy of CV information submitted by users.

6. Intellectual Property

The CV Hub platform, including its design, code, logos and branding, are the property of CV Hub and are protected by South African and international intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from our platform without prior written permission.

7. Privacy

Your use of CV Hub is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. CV Hub is committed to POPIA compliance.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

CV Hub is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the platform's reliability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.

We do not guarantee that using CV Hub will result in employment or job interviews.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, CV Hub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of employment opportunity.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our sole discretion.

You may close your account at any time from your Dashboard settings.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
