Your Profile Completion score reflects how complete your CV is across 10 key areas: profile photo, About Me summary, qualifications, work experience, skills, languages, references, cover letter, CV template selection, and social links. Each area contributes between 10% and 15% to your total score.
A higher completion score means your profile ranks better in employer searches and is more likely to attract attention. Aim for at least 80% to maximise your visibility.

CV Hub is built with South African job seekers in mind - our CV database, provinces, cities, and employment equity fields are all South Africa-specific. However, anyone is welcome to register and use the platform. If you are based outside South Africa, some location fields may not apply to you, but you can still build and download a professional CV.
Privacy & Visibility
By default, your profile is set to private and hidden from employers. You control your own visibility. To make your CV discoverable:
1. Log in and go to your Dashboard.
2. Toggle the "Profile Visibility" switch to make your CV public.
When public, your CV appears in the CV Database and can be found by employers and recruiters. You can switch back to private at any time.

To protect your privacy, your email address and phone number are automatically redacted on your public CV. Employers see a partially hidden version (e.g. gl*****@gmail.com and 076 ****29). Your full contact details are only revealed when you choose to communicate directly, for example by responding to an employer message.
Yes. CV Hub is fully POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act) compliant. Your data is stored securely, never sold to third parties, and you retain full control over your information at all times. You can update, hide, or permanently delete your profile and all associated data at any point from your account settings.
Employers and recruiters can search and browse the CV Database at cvhub.co.za/cv-database. They can filter by province, city, qualification, gender, and race (for Employment Equity purposes). Your profile appears in these results only when your visibility is set to public. Profiles with higher completion scores and more recently updated information rank higher in results.
