About the Classic template
The Classic template puts your name and contact details in a dark header bar, then runs every section - About Me, education, work experience, skills and languages - down a single column.
A single column is the easiest layout for a recruiter to skim and for applicant tracking systems (ATS) to read, so it is a strong default for big employers, government departments and anyone applying through an online portal.
